Simple banana pancakes
Another day, another pancake recipe! I love experimenting with different pancake and crepe recipes, like my No flour pancakes. But this is my go to recipe for weekend pancakes and its so easy and foolproof.
Ingredients
125g flour
2 tbsp baking powder
1 egg
1 banana, ensure its ripe
milk to thin to your desired consistency
Method :
- When i'm lazy, I make this up real quick in my smoothie blender, I combine all the ingredients bar the flour and milk, and give it a good whizz in the blender. Then I add the flour bit by bit , mixing to get a lovely thick texture.
- Now you add the milk, pancake consistency is a preference so you can make them as thick or as thin as you like.
- Meanwhile heat your pan on a medium high heat. Once it is heated up, ladle in your batter. I usually make one ladle or a ladle and a half to one pancake, which gives nice medium sizes.
- Cook the pancake until it is golden brown on each side. Serve with fresh fruit and maple syrup or a topping of your choice. Enjoy !
